As you know, we are going to travel for new experiences, discoveries and adventures, without them our trip seems meaningless. After all, a trip without risks and adventures can become another boring trip to a foreign country.

Uzbekistan is full of unexplored places, unique nature and wonderful opportunities for adventure tourism. Our country offers numerous options for extreme sports due to its vast and diverse landscapes. Among the popular: extreme skiing, snowboarding, motorcycle racing, Rallying, motocross, skateboarding, mountain biking, rock climbing, canyoning and paragliding. You can go on safari in the desert areas of Bukhara and Navoi regions, stay in a yurt camp and spend the night in a tent near the shores of crystal-clear lakes.

The Certification Center for Tourist Services, SUE, of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, in particular, the Technical Committee for Standardization STQ 4 "Tourism and Cultural Heritage" has developed the state standard O'Z DSt ISO 21101:2022 (ISO 21101:2014, IDT) "Adventure tourism. Risk management system. Requirements".

This standard sets out the requirements for a security management system for adventure tourism providers. The unified standard can be used by guides and providers in order to increase the effectiveness of security, meet expectations regarding the safety of participants and employees, as well as ensure compliance with the requirements of current legislation.

This standard can be applied by providers operating in different geographical, cultural and social conditions.

The standard will be valid from April 18, 2023.
